Teri’s music is built around intricate world-class guitar and vocals, a rich harmonic world with poetic lyrics that leave room for the listener’s own experience. The Finnish-Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has spent over 20 years developing his craft as both a recording artist and a solo performer, creating music that is intimate and expansive in equal measure. His songwriting draws on an eclectic musical vocabulary,with unusual harmonies, key changes and intricate arrangements woven into strong melodic and emotional cores. His lyrics often approach their subjects obliquely, leaving room for interpretation and sometimes finding dark humour in uncomfortable places.
